What we did for one candy route

My father-in-law runs a candy route in Houston. His stores started asking for invoices with every flavor on its own line and a barcode for each item. He was writing them by hand in a paper order book.

We built him a phone app. He picks the store, taps what he left, and prints. Every line gets a barcode the store can scan, and it works with no signal. It also handles returns, shows who has not paid and which route is due next, and tracks where his candy sits on the shelf. The story is in One night by the pool.
