Who I am

Genesis Flow Labs is a technology practice operated by Shafen Khan, based in Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas. When this policy says “I” or “me,” it means Shafen Khan / Genesis Flow Labs.

What I collect

When you use the contact form on this site, I collect the information you provide: your name, email address, company name (if given), the service you are interested in, and any message you include. That is it.

This site uses Umami, a privacy-focused, open-source analytics tool that I self-host on my own infrastructure. It does not use cookies, does not collect personal data, and does not track you across sites. It tells me which pages are visited and how people find the site. Nothing more. No data is shared with third parties.

How I use your information

Your contact form submission is sent to me via email so I can respond to your inquiry. I use it for exactly one purpose: having a conversation about whether I can help you. I do not add you to a mailing list, sell your information, or share it with anyone.

Third-party services

The contact form uses Resend to deliver your message to my inbox. Resend processes your email address and message content solely to deliver that email. Their privacy policy is available on their website.

This site is hosted on infrastructure I own and operate. Your data does not pass through shared cloud platforms or third-party hosting services beyond what is needed for email delivery.

Data retention

I keep your contact form submission in my email for as long as it is relevant to our conversation or potential working relationship. If you want me to delete your information, email me and I will take care of it.

Client data

If we work together, any client data I handle during a project is governed by the terms of our engagement. I take data security seriously. Systems I build for clients prioritize self-hosted, client-controlled infrastructure wherever possible. I do not retain client data after an engagement ends unless we agree otherwise.

Your rights

You can ask me to see, correct, or delete any personal information I have about you. Just email me at [email protected]. I am one person, not a bureaucracy. I will handle it directly.

Changes to this policy

If I change how I handle data, I will update this page. The “last updated” date at the top tells you when it was last revised.
